The food is really amazing, so authentic. I tried the mock duck curry as vegan (they do know what vegan is unlike most indian restaurants), and liked it so much that I came here again. The curry comes with choice of either two naans or rice. The portion size is generous, so I had to order extra naan. One curry is actually good enough for two people, unlike other restaurants where its just for one. I had a difficulty trying to locate the restaurant as google maps took me elsewhere, but so glad I found this. The owner is so friendly that I had a long conversation with him as if he was a close friend. I highly recommend this place for those who want to try authentic Indian food or vegan Indian food. Just note that this is more like a takeout place at the moment. ~ Chandra

After traveling to Mumbai, India many years ago, working together with colleagues from India, dining at our onsite restaurant and touring Europe's Indian restaurants I have finally found the place to taste authentic Indian dishes prepared by an extremely talented chef. During my stay in Curacao I ordered at least 4-5 times, it was that delicious. The flavours, the spicies and most importantly the kindness and hospitality are all outstanding and I cannot wait to return to have more. Thank you all for bringing it to the island. ~ Heni B
Take out only. Look for the sign on the door. Be sure to message on Whatsapp early/in advance as food is prepared fresh so it will take a while but worth the wait! This was our order: 1) Jain and vegan mild dal makhani with side of white rice and plain roti (no butter or ghee, oil is fine) 2) Jain and vegan mild veg kohlapuri with side of white rice and plain roti (no butter or ghee, oil is fine) 3) Jain and vegan mild Indo Chinese gravy with vegan soya chaap 4) mild vegan gravy with vegan soya chaap (not Jain) 5) vegan and Jain mild chana masala with white rice and plain roti (no ghee or butter, oil is fine) 6) one order of samosa (already vegan, not Jain) 7) two orders of paneer Tikka masala (this will be regular, NOT vegan or Jain) with white rice only Vineeta was INCREDIBLY helpful in preparing all of this food. We had toddlers who enjoyed this immensely and our diets were handled with caution and care. The soya chaap was so tasty!!! Each entree included a generous portion of rice/roti combo. Also all the food was still hot about 30 minutes later so we could start eating when we reached our rental. We loved this Indian option in Curacao! ~ Shibani S
If you’re looking for Indian food look no further. Every dish we ordered was perfect. Portions are very generous and they include naan and rice with every entree. Beyond food, the service was exceptional. They delivered food for us even though they don’t deliver. They arranged for someone to pick up the food for us and deliver 45min away. Highly recommend Saffron for Indian food. ~ Viraj S
Oh, the food was absolutely delicious! I loved every bite — amazing Indian flavors and perfectly cooked dishes. Can’t wait to order again! The restaurant has no seating, but it’s more intended for quick pickup. Which is perfect! Order through WhatsApp, pickup at an agreed time. ~ Dinotra C
My parents and I have ordered here 3 times already because it is that delicious. The portion sizes for the curry are really good and most of the time we save some for lunch the next day. 100% recommend this place if you like good indian food! ~ Baukje S
Excellent Indian food. Takeout only. The only drawback is that you have to order ahead or expect to wait a long time. But, it is worth the wait. We ordered 4 mains and it took 45 minutes. ~ Will L
One of the best butter chicken I have had so far. Amazing food and amazing taste!! If you are visiting Curacao you MUST try Saffron Indian Cuisine. Highly recommended!! FIVE STARS!! ~ Amit V
